Realme X specifications

The Realme X brings a number of firsts for the company. For starters, it is the first Realme phone to sport a notch-free, full-screen display. There is no waterdrop notch or punch-hole on the display, allowing the phone to offer a 91.2 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The phone sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ (2340×1080) Samsung AMOLED display and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is also the first Realme phone to come with an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Realme X is protected by a premium-looking 3D glasstic panel on the back. The flagship comes in gradient blue and gradient white colours. It is powered by a 2.2Ghz Snapdragon 710 chipset paired with Adreno 616 GPU and 8GB of RAM, much like the Realme 3 Pro. It will be offered with 128GB of internal storage with support for storage expandability up to 256GB. It also comes with Hyperboost 2.0 to improve performance and Gameboost 2.0 to improve gaming performance by reducing drops in framerate.
The dual camera setup on the back includes a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 1.6 micron pixels and 6P lens for high resolution pictures and a 5MP secondary depth camera. The camera also comes with Nightscape long exposure mode for improved low light shots and Chroma Boost for better HDR shots. The Realme X also supports AI scene recognition and 960fps super slow motion recording. The Realme X is the company's first phone with a pop-up camera that rises from the top middle of the frame and takes about 0.74 seconds to pop up. The mechanism houses a 16MP f/2.0 selfie sensor to take bright and sharp selfies.
Like the Realme 3 Pro, the Realme X also supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging, which means charging the device to 100 per cent should happen in about 80 minutes. The device houses a 3,765mAh battery. The latest VOOC technology also maintains fast charging even while playing games. The Realme X also supports Dolby Atmos sound. It ships with Android Pie with ColorOS 6.
In addition to the Realme X, the company also announced the Realme X Lite. This phone brings a 6.3-inch FHD+ Dewdrop display, gradient glasstic design, Snapdragon 710 SoC, 6GB of RAM and 4,045mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 support. If these specs sound familiar that's because the Realme X Lite is actually a rebranded Realme 3 Pro.
